View the documentary film, "Do It, Man! The Story of the Celebrity Club" and meet filmmakers Norm Grant and Tom Shaker at Warwick Public Library on Tuesday, February 18, at 7 p.m. The documentary tells the story of Providences legendary Celebrity Club, the 1950s interracial nightclub in Randall Square. Find out about the jazz and R&B musicians who played there, including Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Fats Domino, and hear tales from local musicians Randy Ashe, Duke Belaire, Ed Coates and Clay Osborne who were there.
