Donald P. Clancy

Donald P. Clancy, 85, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018. He was the loving husband of the late Janet (Law) Clancy.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John J., Sr. and Agnes (McGloin) Clancy. He was a wonderful son to his parents. Donald worked for the City of Warwick, Parks & Recreation for many years before retiring. He was an Army Veteran and served in the Air National Guard for nine years. Donald was a member of the Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Warwick Sportsman’s Club.

Donald was the beloved brother of Noreen A. Clancy, and the late Richard J. Clancy, Elizabeth Roposa, and John J. Clancy, Jr.; uncle of John Kirkwood, Robert Kirkwood, Tara Ginaitt, and Amy Ginaitt. He is also survived by six great nieces and nephews. Donald had the gift of giving to everyone.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
