Donna A. (Wood) Johnson, age 74, of Burgoyne Drive, Warwick, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at Kent Hospital. She was the wife of the late Randolph V. Johnson.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Wallace and Marion I. (Francis) Wood, she lived in Warwick for most of her life. Mrs. Johnson was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Warwick and a former member of its choir. She loved to play cribbage.
She was the mother of Gary A. Johnson of Warwick and the late Randolph V. Johnson Jr.; mother-in-law of Lynda M. Johnson of Warwick; grandmother of Brian J. Johnson and Megan L. Johnson; and sister of Alan Wood of West Warwick and the late Walter Wood, Joanne Sabbillo and Gloria Lynne. She is also survived by a family friend, Michael Lee Vivier of Warwick.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 14 at 10 a.m. from Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Requiem Eucharist at 11 a.m. in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 West Shore Road, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, Feb. 13 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
