Doris C. Podgorski, 94, of Warwick died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley J. Podgorski.
Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Raoul J. and Olivina (Vincent) Roy. Doris was employed as a Data Processing Operator at the Quonset Point Naval Air Station for twenty years, retiring in 1975. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church and a member of the St. Ann Society of St. Francis of Assisi Church, both in Warwick.
Doris is survived by her loving children: Ronald S. Podgorski (Gisele) and Raymond P. Podgorski (Lillian), all of Warwick; a daughter-in-law: Pamela Podgorski of Warwick; a sister: Elsie Arsenault of Kansas; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was the beloved mother of the late Robert J. Podgorski and sister of the late Amos Roy and Phyllis Gould.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
