Eileen A. (Dailey) Bajorek, age 93, formerly of Carolyn Street, Warwick, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, April 1, 2019. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Bajorek.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William F. and Mary A. (McKenna) Dailey, she lived in Warwick since 1943. Mrs. Bajorek was a founding member St. Rose of Lima Parish and its Rosary & Altar Guild. She and her husband were avid bowlers and participated in the Senior Olympics.

She is survived by three daughters, Eileen A. McDermott, Pamela Haigh and her husband, Bob, and Dianne M. Silvia, all of Warwick; a son, Joseph R. Bajorek Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Richmond; eight grandchildren, Susan E. Mercer, Scot J. Haigh, Melissa J. Caldon, Bethany J. Skinner, Michael R. Haigh, Brian M. Silvia, Kayla M. Barber and Kaitlyn E. Elmer; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late William G. Dailey, Thomas J. Dailey and Norman F. Dailey and grandmother of the late Joseph R. Bajorek III.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m. from Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, April 4 from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.
