To the Editor:
On June 18 I had to call an ambulance to take my husband Barry Nordin to the emergency room at Kent Hospital.
I just want to thank all the doctors and nurses who tried so hard to revive my husband’s heart. They spent at least an hour trying different medicines and procedures to restart his heart. They kept me informed about what they were trying and finally, when all options proved fruitless, they had to admit defeat.
When they finally realized that Barry was gone, they came to comfort me. During the procedures they made sure I was okay and didn’t need anything.
Again I would like to repeat my thanks to all the wonderful emergency staff for all their help and medical knowledge in this difficult time.
Brenda Nordin
