Evelyn L. (Pelrine) Peterson, 90, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 surrounded by her loving children. She had been the beloved wife for 65 years to the late Richard E. Peterson.
She was a daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Verma (Bolch) Pelrine. A resident of Warwick for most of her life, she resided at Sunny View Nursing Home for the past year where she received wonderful care. Her faith and her family were the most important things to her. She was a communicant of St. Rose and Clement Parish for 64 years.
She was the beloved mother of; John R. Peterson, Mary P. Moore (Samuel), and the late Gloria M. Maher; sister of Lawrence Pelrine, Louise Santanelli, June Morrisette, the late Raymond and Peter Pelrine, Betty McLeod, Jane Jordan and Isabelle Josephson. She also leaves four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long St., Warwick.
