Filomena (DeAngelis) Vento, 99, the owner and operator of the former Cappelli’s Restaurant in Warwick, passed away, Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Avalon Nursing Home, in Warwick. She was the wife of the late Oswald J. Vento.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Finizia (Pennini) DeAngelis. Filomena was the beloved mother of Lucille Sabelli and her husband Richard; loving grandmother of Todd Sabelli and Dawn M. Sabelli-Silva; loving great-grandmother of Benjamin Silva. She was the sister of Clara Visinho and Delores Silvers, and the late Frank DeAngelis, Tony DeAngelis, Margie DeFusco, Rose Falcione and Etta DeAngelis.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive., Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
