Fire can't dim the lighthouse
Fire can’t dim the lighthouse
While last year’s Thanksgiving eve fire gutted Woodbury Union Church, it won’t interrupt Woodbury’s unique “Lighthouse Bazaar- Christmas in the Village” Bazaar & Craft Fair, to be held on Saturday. The bazaar will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the St. Benedict’s Hall at 135 Beach Ave. in Conimicut. More than 40 select vendors with Christmas, nautical themed gifts and hundreds of unique items will participate. There will also be a huge selection of over 150 gourmet items, baked goods, homemade fudge & baked goods, as well as a delicious lunch menu. All profits will go to rebuilding the church. Here church members work on some of the many items to be offered at the bazaar.
