Frank R. MacRae, Sr., 83, a retired shipper for the former Leesona Corp., passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Shirley M. (Denham) MacRae.
Frank was the beloved father of Frank R., Jr., William R., Shirley M., Donna M. MacRae-Daigle, and Dawn MacRae-Blain; brother of Howard MacRae, and the late Violet Salinger, and the late William MacRae, Arthur MacRae, Florence Skawinski, Ann Heaney, and Mary Jarvi. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
