To the Editor,
I cannot excuse Mayor Solomon for his approval of non-ending teacher contracts which will cause our beautiful students' education in Warwick to be negatively affected. Taxpayers deserve better.
However, I want to thank him for his message to the people in our city (Beacon 3/19/20) concerning the emergency operation plan in response to the dangerous coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. What all of us in the United States are experiencing is beyond the pale. The message was extremely well-written and understandable. Mayor Solomon’s sensitivity and aggressive changes were reassuring to all citizens. As he said, “we will get through it together.” In appreciation and respect,
Eugene Nadeau
Warwick
