Harry E. Eminger, 86, died Tuesday, July 25, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Theresa M. Eminger.

Born in Mars, PA, he was a son of the late Harry R. and Bertha Eminger. Mr. Eminger joined the Air Force in 1951 and graduated from the aviation cadet program as 1st Lt. He served in the Korean War and in Japan being discharged in 1956 as 2nd Lt. He continued with the Air Force Reserve until 1969 and was promoted to Captain. He graduated in 1960 from Bucknell University, with a BSME. He worked for 29 years as a Mechanical Engineer and held over 35 patents. He started his career with American Car and Foundry and had worked for Westinghouse and Rockwell Mfg. all in Pennsylvania. In 1979, he moved to RI and worked for Gulf and Western and Crosby Valve.

Besides his wife he leaves his sons, Cole and his wife Sandra Marshall, Mark and his wife Tish, Keith and Eric. His daughter, Karen Griffith and her fiancé Martin Makarewicz. He was the grandfather of Craig, Courtney, Nick, Gillian, Katherine, Christian and Cory Eminger, Natalie and Jacob Griffith, Kristi Hogue, Justin and Moncia Binyon; great grandfather of Calix Eminger and Carly Crow; brother of Beatrice King, and the late Donald Hanna, Richard Hanna and Edna Carlson.

His funeral will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a service at 11 a.m. in Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Avenue. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Sunday, 4-6 p.m.
