Helen R. Moran, 93, formerly of Deerfield Drive, Warwick passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday evening, January 13, 2019.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Maria (Murphy) Moran. Helen was a graduate of Cranston High School and retired from the former Narragansett Electric Company after forty years of service as a customer service representative. She was a communicant of SS. Rose & Clement Parish for more than fifty years and a true woman of faith.
She is survived by eight nieces and nephews: Elaine Murphy (Robert), Robert Moran (Gail), George Coyne (Claudette), Kathleen Charbonneau, William F. Coyne, Doreen Dougherty (Thomas), Kathleen Rocchio (Michael), Karen LaRoche and a sister-in-law, Virginia L. Moran. She was the sister of the late Mary E. Coyne, James J., Vincent and her twin, Raymond M. Moran.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Thursday 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Prata-Gallogly Funeral Home, 78 Providence St., West Warwick.
