Sophomore standout CJ Sheldon captured the 50 & 100-yard freestyles and swam anchor on two victorious relay teams to pace the Bishop Hendricken swim team to a convincing 70-24 win over Lincoln on Friday afternoon at McDermott Pool.
Senior Michael Ryan coasted to a win in the 500-free while junior Grant Dator remained unbeaten in his signature 100-yard breaststroke and junior John Walden touched first in the 200-yard freestyle to help the Hawks run their dual-meet record to 7-0.
Hendricken’s 200-medley relay team of Ryan McPherson, Dator, Aidan Blanchette and Sheldon outdistanced their Lincoln counterparts to give the Hawks an early lead they would never relinquish. The 200-freestyle relay team of Blanchette, Walden, Luke Senecal and Paul Fedorenko and the 400-free relay quartet of Walden, Ryan, Sheldon and Kevin Sawyer closed out the Hendricken domination.
The Hawks will close out the regular season Wednesday night at 7 p.m. vs. North Kingstown at St. George’s school in Newport.
