On December 10, The Hilb Group of New England presented gifts to Thrive Behavioral Health’s Youth & Family Program. For over 20 years, Thrive Behavioral Health (formerly The Kent Center) has hosted its annual holiday party for clients under the age of 12 and their families to visit with Santa Claus, engage in arts and crafts, and play bingo. Prior to the party, “Giving Trees” were distributed among staff, board members, donors, and local businesses noting the age of each child and an item that they hope Santa will bring them. This year more than 100 children participated in Thrive’s holiday party, and it is due to supportive community businesses such as The Hilb Group that each one received a gift from Santa.
