Hortense M. (Silva) Grant, 91, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017. She was the beloved wife for 68 years to Archibald M. Grant.
She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gloria (Vincente) Silva. Hortense was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She also leaves her two daughters, Diane M. Ritchotte (John) and Barbara A. Grant (Ernest Cote); granddaughters: Julie Lussier and Karen Quirk; great-grandchildren: Logan and Brady Lussier, Landon and Mason Quirk. She was the sister of the late Mary Bruyere-Presbey, Irene Laprocina, Joseph Silva, Josephine Downey, Dorothy Brush, Catherine Panizza, John Silva, and Alice Bubar. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long St.
