Imelda P. (Crocker) Ramsay, 93, passed away December 25, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Alexander L. Ramsay.
Born in Branford, CT, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Wicks) Crocker. Mrs. Ramsay was formerly employed at the Warwick Shoppers World and Nyanza Dept. Store.
She was the beloved mother of Robert, Stephen, and Michael Ramsay, Patricia Timoteo, Kathleen Anthony, Veronica Ramsay, and Margaret Peters; sister of Charlotte Markham, and the late Agnes Wellen. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren, eleven great-grand children, and three great-great-grandchildren; aunt of Joseph Kilday, Gail Benison, Donna Wellen, Richard Markham, and the late Edward Kilday.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Thursday 9:30-10:30 a.m.
