James R. Jacques, 74, an employee of Citizens Bank for 24 years, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Philip Hulitar Hospice in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Karen A. (Hicks) Jacques for 55 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Lillian B. Jacques. James was a supervisor for 24 years for the former Malina Co. He enjoyed planting his garden and was famous for his pizza on special occasions.
James was the loving father of Wayne E. Jacques (Marisa), Michael A. Jacques (Kerrie), and Lori A. Cogean (George); loving grandfather of Danielle, Kaitlyn, and Steven. He was the brother of Donald Grover, and the late John Jacques..
His funeral service will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7 p.m.
