Jane E. Winton, 61, of Warwick passed away on March 12, 2017 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of Matthew J. Winton.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Joan C. (Barrett) Duggan. A Librarian, Jane was the Curator for the Boston Public Library until her retirement in 2015. She was a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School and received her Bachelors and Masters in Library Science from U.R.I. She served on the Historic Cemetery Commission for the City of Warwick.
She was the loving sister of Jean-Marie Warhurst of Canterbury, CT and the late John and Joseph Duggan. Caring aunt of several nieces and nephews.
