“Jazz Christmas at the Courthouse” features The Clay Nordhill Trio's debut performance at the Courthouse Center for the Arts. Special guest Jonathan Audette will play Christmas carols on piano. The show is December 17 at 7 p.m. Nordhill is a Rhode Island based guitarist, composer and educator as well as a recent graduate of the jazz performance program at the University of Rhode Island.
As a performer, he can be found playing with his own groups, as well as with Four Agreements, the Just Around Trio, Kamchatka and various other groups. Nordhill is also an active pit musician, performing regularly for high school, college and professional theatre productions throughout New England.
Jonathan Audette also performs with various artists and star bands like Hey Nineteen and Another Tequila Sunrise. He is a seasoned piano instructor and has his students perform here at the Courthouse as well.
