The Mmere Dané Group’s original music can be described as soulful jazz touched by textures of world music. The feeling taken from funk is always there, and time flows like the hourglass that symbolizes "Mmere Dane”.
Joining Riley Stockwell on guitar, will be Marcus Monteiro (saxes), Dave Zinno (bass), Tim Lee (drum set), and Ben Paulding (percussion).

The Group started in June, 2014 with a bang, sharing the stage with jazz drummer Adam Nussbaum at the Spot Underground. Since then they have been performing in Rhode Island and Massachusetts with acts like Snarky Puppy, the Nth Power, The Fringe, The Jerry Bergonzi Group, and many more.
Admission will be $10 cash at the door, which opens 6:30 pm..
Funding for this concert will be provided in part by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through an appropriation by the Rhode Island General Assembly, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and private funders.
