One last hurrah for John Brown Francis

The PTA of John Brown Francis Elementary School held their annual end of the year celebration on Friday. This year the event had even more significance, as the school will be consolidated into a pre-k facility come next school year.

PTA co-presidents Liz Gambuto and Carla Cote confirmed the PTA raised and spent nearly $3,000 to throw the bash, which included everything imaginable, from inflatable bouncy houses and slides, laser tag, a rock wall, face painting, balloon animals, a photo booth and a gym full of raffle items. Kids and adults alike flocked to the school to celebrate.

Leftover proceeds from the event would be donated to the PTAs of Wyman and Holliman Elementary Schools and Warwick Vets Middle School.
