Jeanette Marie “Jenny Mae” Gallerani, 91, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 27th, 2019. Born in Warwick, she was a daughter of the late, William and Margaret (McPeak) Burton. She was the wife of the late, B. Charles Gallerani and former wife of James T. Ryan.

She worked as a general clerk for New England Telephone, now Verizon, for twenty years until her retirement in 1990. She was a former member of St. Joseph Church in West Warwick. Jeanette enjoyed time with family and friends. Among her talents were cooking, needle point, quilting, and candlewicking. She loved to sew and passed on her talents to her daughters. She was famous for her delicious chicken cacciatore.

Jeanette is survived by her loving children, William T. Ryan and his wife Janette, of Newton, Kansas, Kathleen M. Nottell and her husband John, of Warwick, and Patricia A. Keenan and her husband Robert, of West Warwick. She was the loving mother of the late, Michael P. Ryan of Melbourne, Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A true blessing in Jenny Mae’s life was her sister, Bertha L. Klitz, who survives her. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at 12PM at the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave. Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service from 10AM-12PM. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Warwick.
