Jeannette Mae (Salisbury) Moore, was welcomed into God’s loving embrace on September 14, 2018. Jeannette was the wife of the late Charles W. Moore, Sr. for 57 years.

Born in Cranston, RI to the late Everett and Margaret (Howard) Salisbury, she was 92 years old. Jeannette was a graduate of the Cranston High School. Jeannette was a tap dancer who performed at many USO shows for the troops during World War II. She was also a bookkeeper for the Brown and Sharp Co., during which, she also was employed as an office assistant for the former Leesona Corp., of Warwick, and as a machine operator for the Jewel Case Corp., of Providence. While doing this, she was a loving mother and wonderful homemaker.

Jeannette is survived by her four children: Sharon L. Crane (Jim) of Bow, NH, Deborah A. Shea (Brian) of Jamestown, Charles W. Moore, Jr. (Carol), and Raymond C. Moore, Sr. (Gloria), both of Exeter. Jeannette was blessed with seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Jeannette is also survived by her sister Joan Daniels of Cranston. She was preceded in death by her brothers Harold, Earl, George “Huck” and Thomas Salisbury, and her sisters Flora (Salisbury) Cooney, Ann (Salisbury) Sanderson, and Elizabeth “Betty” (Salisbury) Bouchard.

Her funeral will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 at 9a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Long St., at 10a.m. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Thursday, 4-8 p.m.
