Joan Jones, 91, died Thursday, October 18, 2018. She was the wife of the late Matthew O. Jones.
Born in Bristol, a daughter of the late Clement and Mary (Rego) Oliviera, she had been a resident of Warwick for most of her life. Joan loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons, Matthew C. Jones and his partner Kathleen Park, and Thomas F. Jones and his wife Darleen Jones. She was the grandmother of Kirsten Farrell, Matthew Jones, Sara Cannon, Lauren Jones, Evan Park, John E. Cronin, Danielle Furtado, and Scott Cronin; great-grandmother of Nicky Jones, Matthew Jones, Dylan Jones, Rowan Jones, London Furtado, Natalie Cronin, Jacoby Furtado, Hayden Cronin, and Jenelle Cronin. She was the sister of Robert Oliver, the late Manuel Oliviera, Frank Oliviera, Mary Eaton, John and Joseph Oliviera.
