June E. Dowding, 50, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 28, 2017.
A lifelong resident of Warwick, she was the beloved daughter of June (Brierly) Denham and the late William Dowding, Sr. She was also the step-daughter of the late Donald D. Denham. June was employed with the Warwick School Dept. for many years. She was a special needs school bus driver before working as a custodian. She loved arts and crafts, and being connected with family and friends through social media.
She was the loving sister of Bill J. Dowding (Eileen), Michael J. Dowding (Nancy), Steven M. Dowding (Leigh), and Gary T. Dowding (Lori). She also leaves half-brothers David, Dennis, and Keith Dowding, as well as many nieces and nephews, and her companion Michael J. Walsh.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. with a service at 7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private. Information and condolences, visit TheQuinnFuneralHome.com
