Keith Burns, 60, passed away on January 19th at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, MA. He was the beloved husband of Kristen (Ogden) Burns, they had been together for 22-1/2 yrs. They would have celebrated their 19th Wedding Anniversary on August 11th.
He was the son of the late Thomas J. Burns Jr. and the late Beverly A. (Stewart) Burns. Keith was a baker by trade starting off at his families business Burns Bros. Donut Shop, he also worked at many other bakeries through out RI including Colliers, Kavanugh's, he worked at Vienna Bakery for 10 years and also La Salle for several years before he took sick. Keith enjoyed all kinds of music especially the blues, he enjoyed camping, boating, traveling and many other things but most of all he loved spending time with his family and his dog Harley, she was his baby and when he couldn't be with her he would talk to her on the phone so she could hear his voice. Keith came to find the Lord and started attending church at Praise Tabernacle. He enjoyed going on Sundays with his sister.
Keith was the beloved father of Nicole, Keith and Courtney. He was the step-father of Michael, Michaela, Wynter and Nicolette. He was the loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren. He was the brother to Kathy (Burns) and husband Andy Nonnenmarcher. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas J. Burns 3rd, and his sister Donna Burns.
There will be a life celebration at the Robert T. Johnson-Gilcrest VFW Post at 183 Washington St, Warwick on Wednesday, January 29th at 11:00 a.m. A gathering follows.
