Kent County Water Authority will conduct hydrant flushing in a portion of our Scituate, Cranston, Coventry, Warwick and West Warwick system through Friday, October 21, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. depending on weather and system demand conditions. This will include work in Natick and East Natick neighborhoods of Warwick, from Toll Gate and Centerville Road area east to Apponaug.
This flushing is being done to remove the bulk of the accumulated sediments and mineral deposits in our water mains. Customers may experience some discolored water and lower than normal water pressure during this period. If this is observed, allow your cold water to run for a short time.
Customers who have concerns during this flushing period can call the Kent County Water Authority at 821-9300.
