Messier scored a game-high 22 points to lead Hendricken over St. Raphael on Friday, the team's 10th win in a row. Messier's two three-pointers last in the second half helped put the game on ice.
"It's just all around teamwork," Messier said. "We have the best defense in the state, I think. We struggled with offense in the beginning, but everyone has been stepping up."
