ARTICLE I

IN GENERAL

Be it ordained by the City of Warwick:

Section I. Chapter 2 Article I of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Warwick is hereby amended to add the following:

Sec. 2-30. – Notice to City Council when personnel leave the service of the City.

Notice shall be given to all members of the City Council within twenty four (24) hours five (5) business days) of when a Department Director, Department Deputy Director, acting Director, acting Deputy Director, Division Chief or other person in charge of a City agency or Authority separates from the service of the City, whether said separation occurs by retirement, resignation or other type of termination of service.

Notice shall also be given to all members of the City Council within twenty four (24) hours five (5) business days) of when a person is appointed or contracted to serve in any of the above positions.

Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication as prescribed by law.
