Mary E. (Steadman) Planka, age 93, of Warwick, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Sunnyview Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late H. Michael Planka.
Born in Cranston, the daughter of the late Howard L. and Marion C. (Dray) Steadman, she lived in Warwick for 70 years. Mrs. Planka was employed by New England Telephone Co. during World War II.
She is survived by a daughter, Jana M. Planka, of Narragansett; a son, Michael A. Planka of Woonsocket; two grandchildren, Michael A. Planka and Nora J. Planka; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late David M. Planka, and the sister of the late William H. Steadman.
Her funeral and burial will be private.
