Michael J. "Mikey" Barry Sr., 74, passed away at his home of 60 State Street, North Kingstown, RI to respiratory failure on the morning of August 23, 2018.
Born on August 18, 1944 in Fall River, MA. He was the son of the late Michael and Ruth Barry. Brother of Patricia Barry of Fall River, MA, the late Ernest Barry of Providence, RI and Carol Barry, of Cranston, RI. For a majority of his life he owned and operated S&M Casting Company as well as other general jewelry industries. He enjoyed the company of his close friends and family.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne M. Barry, his daughter Michele Barry Brayman of Florida, Suzanne Barry of North Kingstown, RI, and Michael J. Barry of North Kingstown, RI, as well as four grandsons: James A. Russo, Jr. and Ryan M. Russo, of Florida, Kyle D. Barry of Warwick, RI, Logan Barry of Long Beach, CA and one great-grandson Carter J. Russo of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews.
His unique sense of humor and personlaity has forever made an impact on those whose lives were blessed with his presence.
His funeral will begin on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt. 117) Warwick, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon.
