"Music For The Soul" Summer Series

The “Music for the Soul” Summer Series on June 30, 2019 at 3 PM at the First Baptist Church of Cross Mills located at 4403 Old Post Road in Charlestown, RI (next to the Cross Mills Library) will feature Notable Works’ “The Future of Our Planet.” Noreen Inglesi and the Notable Works’ Ensemble will depict, through original music and poetry, some of Rhode Island’s beautiful natural treasures such as the preserves at Goosewing Beach, Quicksand Pond, Matunuck Hills and Block Island. Special guests include Nancy Carroll of Bonnet Shores, David Dragone of Crosswinds Poetry, poet Thomas Lane of Providence and pianist Dave McNally. Notable Works will introduce its new publication Voices of The Earth: The Future of Our Planet showcasing the splendor of our state, while tackling the complex issues of climate change. Tickets are $12.00 (children under 12 free) and the church is handicapped accessible. Advance reservations are suggested by calling Tina at (401) 788-7074 or Noreen at (401) 588-2964. Complimentary refreshments will be provided by Charlestown Famous Pizza and Texas Roadhouse of East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
