The Ocean State Center for Independent Living will be a hosting free Lunch & Learn Workshop on Thursday, August 29 from 12-2 p.m. – in the large meeting room at the Cranston Public Library located at 140 Sockanosset Cross Road in Cranston.

The topic of this workshop is Rhode Island’s non-emergency medical transportation system managed by MTM. They arrange rides for eligible Rhode Island residents. A representative from MTM will give updates on their services and how they are continuing to work to improve their system to meet the community's needs. There will be opportunity for questions and answers as well as to discuss your concerns. A representative from the Executive Office of Health and Human Services will also be in attendance.

As part of OSCIL’s mission to provide outreach, education and opportunities for peer support, OSCIL offers these free Lunch and Learn workshops highlighting various solutions that can increase access in your home and community.

Seating is Limited. Lunch (pizza) and beverages will be served.
