NSA domestic spying activities overreaching
To the Editor:
There is absolutely no excuse for the overreach of the power that the NSA has exhibited with its recent domestic spying actions. Given this, there is also no excuse whatsoever for Representative Langevin’s vote to continue the program.
The Fourth Amendment protects all American citizens from unreasonable search and seizure, and voting to continue this program is clearly in direct contradiction of the U.S. Constitution. Anyone who has decided that spying on and collecting data of American citizens by the American government without justification clearly does not deserve to be a representative and has lost my vote in any future contests.
I hope that others remember this vote by Rep. Langevin and remove him from office the first chance possible.
