During the week of July 24-28, The Governor’s Commission on Disabilities (GCD) is sponsoring a series of open public forums on the Concerns of People with Disabilities and their Families. These forums offer an opportunity for individuals with disabilities and their friends and families to share their concerns. Representatives of several agencies throughout the state will be in attendance. The Ocean State Center for Independent Living (OSCIL) will host the forum on Tuesday, July 25 from 4-6 p.m. at the Warwick Public Library at 600 Sandy Lane.
The full schedule of Public Forums is as follows:
July 24 – Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St, Bristol 4 to 6 p.m.
July 25 – Warwick Public Library, 600 Sandy Lane, Warwick 4 to 6 p.m.
July 26 – Peace Dale Library, 1057 Kingstown Rd, Wakefield 3:30-5:30 p.m.
July 26 – Cumberland Public Library, 1464 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland 4 to 6 p.m.
July 27 – Middletown Public Library, 700 West Main Rd, Middletown 4 to 6 p.m.
July 28 – Rochambeau Library, 708 Hope St, Providence 3-5 p.m.
