OSN live TV auction to benefit Special Olympics


OSN (Ocean State Networks) will televise a live TV auction on Cox Ch. 5 and Ch. 1005 to benefit Special Olympics Rhode Island Sunday, Dec. 2 from 6-10 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Rhode Island’s year-round program of sports and athletic competition to more than 2,800 children and adults with intellectual disabilities and/or closely related developmental disabilities.

OSN, Cox Communications, PEG-RI, Lite Rock 105, AM790 News & Business and WEEI Sports Radio are the official media partners for this year’s auction, which will feature jewelry items, trips to New York, Boston, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, tickets to New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and Providence Bruins games, sports memorabilia, dinner certificates, gift baskets and many more wonderful items donated by local businesses and companies.

In addition to auctioning items, the program will feature highlights of Special Olympics Rhode Island events and interviews with athletes, families and staff. What a great opportunity to start your holiday shopping and help support Special Olympics Rhode Island.
