Park Theatre schedules exciting concerts

This was more than a “and then I recorded” show, as Alpert did play a medley of his hits, adding some Great American Songbook tunes and a few newer, lesser known ones. He chatted with the appreciative audience, displayed his modern art on screens behind the band, showed a couple of videos, accompanied his wife in some great Latin music, and came back for an encore after the longest sustained standing ovation I’ve heard in a long time.
