Peter C. “Pete” Lorden, age 45, of Ardway Avenue, Warwick, died on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Providence, the son of Peter M. and Faye A. (Keyes) Lorden of Warwick, he was a life-long Warwick resident. He was a 1988 graduate of Pilgrim High School, and attended Sawyer School. He was a United States Army veteran. Peter was a self-employed professional painter. He was a talented guitar player who had a big heart, and loved and was loved by many.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Denise M. Lorden-Lundin, and her husband, Robert, of Warwick; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His funeral was held on Monday, January 11, from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial with military honors was in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
