Former Warwick Vets basketball coach Jim Garcia as well as former La Salle coach Eric Simonelli will be hosting a free, youth basketball clinic at the Boys and Girls Club at Oakland Beach on Sunday, Aug. 18th.
The clinic is open to Warwick residents who are interested in developing their basketball skills as well as learning the fundamentals of the game.
Garcia and Simonelli will also be joined by members of the Pilgrim and Toll Gate High School teams, including coaches Matt Fontaine and Tom Rayko.
The camp is open to kids from kindergarten through eighth grade. Grades K-3 with be playing from 8:15-9:30 a.m. while grades 4-8 will be hitting the court from 9:45-11 a.m. Kids must bring a basketball and arrive on time.
