PPAC launches `Tell Us Your Stories' campaign

The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is launching a "Tell Us Your Stories" campaign in honor of the Loew's Theatre Building's 90th Anniversary. Anyone who has attended an event at the theatre can submit photos of themselves and their friends/family at the event or copies of Theatre memorabilia (e.g. program books, ticket stubs), accompanied by short descriptions.

P.J. Prokop, Director of Marketing, said, "The Providence Performing Arts Center has been a special place over these many years to countless audiences. Each live performance is unique, a small miracle never to be replicated; the Theatre itself holds many stories, special memories, and shared experiences. Please share your stories with us: it could be as simple as a photo with the title of the show attended and your name[s]. We hope to make your memories and stories a part of our 90th anniversary celebration this year."

Photo memories can be shared through social media with #PPACstories, by email at storiesfor90th PPAC Marketing, Providence Performing Arts Center, PPAC Square, Loew's Theatre Building, 220 Weybosset Street, Providence, RI 02903-3783.

Submissions are due by Monday, September 10; note that by your submission to PPAC, you are granting permission to the theatre to use your story and/or photo(s) on PPAC's website, in theatre newsletters, and as part of the Theatre's birthday celebration on Saturday, October 13.
