Raymond O. Gibeau, WFD Ret., 86, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Muriel D. (Cardinal) Gibeau, for 56 years.
Born in Providence he was the son of the late Omer R. and Mary L. (Flamand) Gibeau. Mr. Gibeau was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and served on the Warwick Fire Department for 25 years, retiring as Lieutenant in 1986
Raymond was the beloved father of Elaine M. Kirwin (Kenneth), Shirley M. Carlow (Steven), Diane Dubois (Raymond), and Thomas R. Gibeau; loving grandfather of: Jessica, Thomas, Armand, Philip, Mason, Sara, and Samantha; loving great-grandfather of: Michael, Isaac, and Owen. He was the brother of Lucy Cerbo, Donna Meglio, and the late Claire Murray and Jeannette Provencial; also survived by many nieces and nephews..
His funeral service will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
