The RI Philharmonic Orchestra announces four Summer Pops concerts across Rhode Island. Resident Conductor Francisco Noya conducts concerts that are free of charge and open to the public. The program includes music from Leonard Bernstein, John Philip Sousa, Peter Tchaikovsky and Richard Rodgers along with modern favorites from Star Trek, Batman and more.
Concerts will be performed Friday, July 7 at 8 p.m. at
Narragansett Town Beach, sponsored by Citizens Bank;
Friday, August 4 at 7 p.m. at RWP Pops Temple to Music, Roger Williams Park, Providence, sponsored by The Rhode Island Foundation; Sunday, September 3 at 6 p.m. at Independence Park, Bristol, sponsored by Taco/The White Family Foundation and Saturday, September 9 at 5:30 p.m. Pops in the Park, Slater Park, Pawtucket, sponsored by the Pawtucket Teachers Alliance and Bristol County Savings Bank.
Rain dates are the following evening at the same time.
