The award-winning Rhode Island Youth Theatre presents “The Lion King, Jr.” at The Prout School in Wakefield. The African savannah comes to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale. There are 15 Warwick students participating in this production. Show times are Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22 at 7 p.m. at the Prout School, 4640 Tower Hill Road, Wakefield. Tickets can be purchased at www.riyt.org.
