Robert E. Reynolds, age 83, of Warwick, RI, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2020. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John “Jack” and Jean (MacPherson) Reynolds.
Robert was a lifelong Warwick resident and the beloved husband of his high school sweetheart, Carol F. (Sunday) Reynolds, for 56 years. He was a union painter, union sign maker and a truck driver. Robert served in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He loved his wife and enjoyed going to the casino and playing Hi-Lo-Jack at the Pawtuxet Athletic Club, where he was a member for 50 years.
In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by four children: Edward R. Reynolds, Sandi L. Plouffe, Shelley J. Higgins, and Scott J. Reynolds. He also had nine grandchildren: Jeffrey Stevens, Kelly Reynolds, Victoria Reynolds, Cassidi Plouffe, Kirsten Reynolds, Jacob Plouffe, Scott Reynolds Jr., Jillian Higgins, Isabella Higgins as well as two great-grandchildren, Owen and Grayson Phillips.
