Robert Winslow Lee, 28, of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, formerly of Warwick, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 in Warwick. Born in Providence, he was the beloved son of Todd G. and Jane E. (Burnham) Lee of North Carolina.
Bobby proudly served in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. He served aboard the USS PORTLAND (LPD 27) and the USS FRANK CABLE (AS-40). Bobby was a graduate of Tollgate High School and later attended the University of Rhode Island. He enjoyed surfing, fishing, golfing and hiking.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his twin sister: Jennifer Elizabeth Lee of Brookline, MA; paternal grandparents: Robert E. and Sandra Lee; three aunts: Debbie Booth (Dick), Pamela S. Chabot (Henry) and Darilyn A. Gorton; and several cousins. Robert was the maternal grandson of the late Winslow L. and Madelyn E. (Ricker) Burnham.
His Memorial Requiem Eucharist will be Celebrated on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11 a.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 55 Main Street, Wickford. Please wear your most vibrant colors as Bobby would want us all to celebrate his life. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted and burial will be private.
