Ronald L. Guillemette, 60, of Hope Valley, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at Westerly Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Kerri A. (Robinson) Guillemette.
He was a son of Gerard V. and Yvette L. (Perreault) Guillemette. Ronald was a Career and Technical Educator at the Regional Career and Technical Center in Coventry since 2011, High School Math Teacher at Coventry High School since 2006, Director of Technology for the Coventry Public Schools from 1998-2006, a teacher at St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket from 1989-1998, a teacher for the Catholic Memorial High School in Boston from 1983-1986, and a teacher for the Monsignor Farrell High School. Ronald served as a Christian Brother for 15 years. He was also a communicant and lector for St. Joseph's Church in Hope Valley for 18 years.
He was a loving father of Nathan and Noelle Guillemette; brother of Denis, Gil and Jeanne Guillemette, Lucie Burdick, Michelle Capuano, Elaine Franco, Janet Greenwood, Ann Licciardi, David Guillemette, and the late Carol Guillemette.
Relatives and friends were invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on July 28, 2018 at in St. Joseph Church, 1105 Main St., Hope Valley. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours were Friday in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick.
