Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) has given Zachary Bowe of East Greenwich a principal nomination to the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland. Bowe, a distinguished student-athlete, has served as the Prout School’s varsity football team captain and is a member of the golf team, math league and theatre group. He is involved in numerous after-school clubs and organizations and is a Patriot Club member, a volunteer at the Women’s Refugee Care of Rhode Island and an altar server at St. Gregory the Great Church.
