On Sunday, March 4 five scouts from Pack 1 Warwick earned the highest award in Cub Scouting, the Arrow of Light, during a ceremony at Heritage Christian Fellowship Church on Warwick Neck Ave. Not only did they earn the Arrow of Light but they also took the big step and crossed from their Cub Scout Pack over into their new Boy Scout Troop, Troop 1 Warwick. The whole Pack, their families and members of Troop 1 Warwick were on hand to celebrate. Cub Scouting is a year-round program and boys in grades K-4 and girls in grades 1-4 can join anytime this spring and in the fall boys and girls in grades k-5 can join, www.BeAScout.org. From left in the front row are Riley Mathewson, Cayden Williams, Jay Ricci, Ryan Simao and Brendan Reilly (back row) Martin Gomm, Arrow of Light Den Leader, and Patty Gomm, Cubmaster.
