Lots of treats

LOTS OF SPACE TO DANCE? Well, dancing isn’t exactly what took place Friday night at Robertson School, but there was no lack of movement at the Halloween bash.

RUNNING THE SHOW: Robertson Principal Brian Dillon was easily identifiable from the crowd of ghouls, goblins, princesses, witches, unicorns and even one student dressed as a slice of pepperoni pizza.

PARTNERS: Emily Zambrano and her daughter Carmella were made up for the dance.

BEWITCHING: Fifth grader Mackenzie Chianca puts a spell on her friends.

ON DUTY: Sam Manzoni showed up in uniform with his parents.

FURNITURE MOVER: Christian Humphrey transformed himself into a chest of drawers.

FUN WITH FOOD: After enjoying pizza, or maybe even before that, students got to decorate and then sample cupcakes. The purple cupcakes were the most popular.

With the lights low, the music high and creative costumes plentiful, the Robertson School all purpose room was the perfect spot for the school’s recent Halloween dance. The dancing was questionable, although there was plenty of shimmering and shaking, not to mention running and even sliding across the floor. And there was more. The PTO-sponsored event included a photo booth, lots of eats for kids and parents and a contest in the school auditorium for the best – scary, creative…you name it – costume.
